Anodizing

...for tough, abrasion resistant, indoor lifetime quality, asset and equipment labels.

Anodizing is a process which results in long term durability for indoor usage (30 –50 years) and approximately 10 years durability for outdoor usage (depending upon environmental conditions).

Like Metalphoto®, the anodizing process starts with specially treated aluminum plates. Characterized by their open pores, graphics are dyed into these plates using a process much like screen printing. Once dry, the plates are then chemically treated to initiate an anodizing process which results in a glass-clear, sapphire-hard anodized layer on the top. anodizing, asset and equipment labels A variety of colors are available and multiple colors can be dyed onto the same asset and equipment labels. The end product possesses super sharp graphics and is incredibly abrasion resistant due to its anodized surface. As such, anodizing is an excellent imprinting process for asset and equipment labels of all kinds including valve plates, identification plates, warning and caution plates.
